Show Low has gone a perfect 7-0 against Alchesay recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Cougars will host the Falcons at 10:00 a.m. Show Low is coming into the game hot, having won their last 14 games.
Show Low proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by nine) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Chinle 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since March 21st.

Easton Hatch made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Mason Bigos was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Kash Perkins was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Show Low was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chinle only posted a batting average of .233.
Meanwhile, Alchesay came up short against Snowflake on Thursday, falling 17-1. The Falcons have struggled against the Lobos recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Show Low's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Alchesay, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
Alchesay's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Show Low has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Alchesay, though, as they've been averaging 10.2 hits. Given Show Low's sizable advantage in that area, the Falcons will need to find a way to close that gap.
Show Low got the 'W' in their previous matchup on April 2nd against Alchesay by a conclusive 12-2 score. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
