Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pitman). They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Smidt Tech Grey Wolves on Friday. Given Pitman's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Smidt Tech are ranked 960th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Alex Vasquez and Giancarlos Nakamura scored all three of Pitman's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Pitman's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Smidt Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Pitman has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Grant on the 6th. As for Smidt Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 loss against Modesto on the 6th.
