Trivium Prep scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 15-5 to the Great Hearts Anthem Eagles. The Crimson Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

Liam Denk made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those runs marked the first that he has scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Elliot Denk, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Trivium Prep's record is now 0-5. As for Great Hearts Anthem, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trivium Prep will host Northland Prep Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Great Hearts Anthem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bagdad at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
