On Friday, Alpena had to suffer through a rough 58-30 loss at the hands of Franklin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Alpena has scored all season.
Franklin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Robbie Wynn, who scored ten points along with six assists. Kameron Webster was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Alpena's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Alpena will be playing at home against Cadillac at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cadillac is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Franklin, they will take on Belleville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
