It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pee Dee Academy had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Orangeburg Prep Indians a 27-0 shutout. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 26 points or more this season.

Pee Dee Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.9 points over those games. As for Orangeburg Prep, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.
