St. Joseph Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 358th, while Bayard Rustin is ranked 92nd).
Riley Stackhouse was her usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Bayard Rustin. Stackhouse is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sara Betchyk, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Mt. St. Joseph Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Bayard Rustin, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.
Mt. St. Joseph Academy will be playing at home against Villa Joseph Marie at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Villa Joseph Marie is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Bayard Rustin, they will head out on the road to challenge Sun Valley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
