Volleyball Recap: Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Victorious

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas won the last time they faced Rancho and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Falcons came out on top against the Rams by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-16, 25-15.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas found their leader in sophomore Jinelle David, who had 13 digs. Those 13 digs set a new season-high mark for David.

Despite the loss, Rancho still got an impressive performance from Breaunna Chadwick, who had 12 digs.

Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' victory bumped their record up to 23-13. As for Rancho, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-15.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas and Bonanza will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rancho, they will venture away from home to challenge Sierra Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
