After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock/Strasburg/Zeeland, Kidder County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the New Salem Holsteins, posting a 60-30 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won six games by 20 points or more so far this season.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Mason Whitman and Bryce Larson. Whitman rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry while Larson gained 145 total yards and two touchdowns. What's more, Larson racked up 99 rushing yards, the most he's had since back in August. Grady Larson got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
