The Corinth Christian Academy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. They took a hard 49-32 fall against Varsity Opponent. That's two games in a row now that Corinth Christian Academy has lost by exactly 17 points.
Corinth Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cason Amerson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alden Hughes, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Corinth Christian Academy dropped their record down to 7-14 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Varsity Opponent, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 362-1292-2.
Corinth Christian Academy will take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
