Erie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. The matchup between the Red Devils and the Southeast Lancers didn't end well, with the Red Devils falling 43-26. On the bright side, the 26- point effort marked the Red Devils' highest-scoring contest to date.

Erie's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Southeast, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Erie will welcome Uniontown on Friday. The Red Devils will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Southeast, they are taking a road trip to challenge Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
