Cedar Ridge are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Midland on Friday at Varsity at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
There's no need to mince words: Cedar Ridge lost to Harrisburg last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-35. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Cedar Ridge.
Meanwhile, Midland suffered a grim 0-32 defeat to Quitman. Midland were down by 0-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
