The Kettle Moraine Lasers entered their tilt with the Franklin Sabers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Kettle Moraine came out on top against Franklin by a score of 50-43 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kettle Moraine also won the last time the pair played back in March.
Several Sabers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lauren Capstran, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds. The matchup was Capstran's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Aniya Boyland was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 8 rebounds.
Kettle Moraine's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kettle Moraine will face off against Arrowhead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arrowhead will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to face off against Racine Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Racine Park presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Franklin in Wisconsin (Racine Park is ranked 33rd, while Franklin is ranked 146th).
