Rose Hill is a perfect 5-0 against Independence since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rockets are taking a road trip to square off against the Bulldogs. One thing working in Rose Hill's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.

Rose Hill will bounce into Friday's game after beating Wellington, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rockets breezed past the Crusaders to the tune of 55-14 on Friday. Considering the Rockets have won four matchups by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Independence, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They secured a 24-20 W over Labette County on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Rose Hill has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points over those games. As for Independence, their record is now 3-4.

Everything went Rose Hill's way against Independence in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Rose Hill made off with a 55-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
