St. Ignatius College Preparatory is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Presentation a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Presentation Panthers at 4:00 p.m.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Galarza, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Presentation got the win against Castilleja on Monday by a conclusive 17-4.
Allie Malatesta was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Julia Simon was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Juliana Yurko, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Presentation always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Castilleja only posted an OBP of .440.
St. Ignatius College Preparatory's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Presentation, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
St. Ignatius College Preparatory took their victory against Presentation when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 15-5 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
