Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brookstone). They managed a 55-51 win over the Schley County Wildcats on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their 18-point performance the game before.

Brookstone's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Julie Anne Pyle led the charge by putting up 13 points. Another player making a difference was Caroline Peak, who posted ten points.

Brookstone moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Schley County, their record is now 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookstone will square off against Chattahoochee County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Schley County, they will take on Shaw at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
