Pueblo West fell 49-37 to Pine Creek on Friday. Pueblo West has not had much luck with Pine Creek recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Pueblo West still got an impressive performance from Trynity Martin, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Martin has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Katie Peterson was another key contributor, scoring four points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Pueblo West has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Pine Creek, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
