Wilson (Washington, D.C.) took the lead for good when
Kenyon Bundy ran for a touchdown with 10:00 left in the third quarter and held on to upset
Anacostia (Washington, D.C.) 40-20 on Saturday.
The score was knotted at 20 heading into the half. The Tigers took the lead for good on a touchdown run by Bundy in the third quarter.
With the win Wilson extended its winning streak to five games. WHS defeated the Crimson Tide 20-13 last week.
The Indians'
DeQuan Turner played well. The senior quarterback ran for two touchdowns. His performance brought his touchdown total to seven on the year.
Scott Beumel played well for the Tigers in the victory. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
Wilson also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 19-6.
The loss comes after Anacostia defeated Spingarn 42-0 last week. The loss snapped Anacostia's 2-game winning streak.
