Polo has had a week off and is no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Milford/Cissna Park on Friday. Both teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Four weeks ago, Polo faced Pawnee/Lincolnwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Marcos claimed a resounding 46-6 win over Pawnee/Lincolnwood.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Milford/Cissna Park. They were fully in charge last week, breezing past Flanagan/Woodland 62-12. Milford/Cissna Park was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Polo to 9-0 and Milford/Cissna Park to 11-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when the Marcos and the Bearcats clash.
