Mohawk is a perfect 3-0 against Lucas since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Warriors will welcome the Cubs at 4:00 p.m. Mohawk will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Mohawk's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over Bucyrus. Considering the Warriors have won 16 games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aubrey Gottfried made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Mohawk got a massive performance out of Mallory Brickner, who fired off two home runs and three runs while going 2-for-3. Brickner continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Emily Brickner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs.
Mohawk was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .400 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Bucyrus hit Lucas with a nine-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cubs lost 14-2 to the Redmen.
Chelsea Sweet was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Lucas' defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Mohawk, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.
Lucas' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Mohawk has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.4 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Lucas, though, as they've been averaging only 3.2 strikeouts. Will Mohawk keep running through batters, or will the Cubs buck the trend?
Everything went Mohawk's way against Lucas in their previous meeting back in May of 2021, as Mohawk made off with a 13-2 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Cubs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
