That makes it seven consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least 25% of Jackson Academy's points. Caleb Gaitor was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Jackson Academy and bumps their season record up to 16-1. As for Lafayette, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Jackson Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Christian Collegiate Academy at 2:20 p.m. on January 3, 2024. As for Lafayette, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southaven at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
