After six games on the road, Dwight is heading back home. They will take on the St. Bede Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Monday, Dwight was the victim of a tough 51-30 defeat at the hands of Roanoke-Benson. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Dwight in their matchups with Roanoke-Benson: they've now lost five in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Makayla Chamber, who scored 10 points. Njomza Asllani was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Meanwhile, St. Bede pushed their score all the way to 55 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Marquette 60-55.
The losses dropped Dwight to 3-3 and Roanoke-Benson to 2-5.
