Owasso is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Bixby is on a ten-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Rams will welcome the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Owasso is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They skirted past Jenks 39-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since November 29, 2024.

Owasso got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Hall out in front who rushed for 101 yards and two TDs, and also caught one touchdown. Hall's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. Owasso also got help from Tae Bethel, who showed off his sure hands for 131 receiving yards.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Owasso, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cole Campbell, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Bixby faced Broken Arrow in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Spartans really took it to the Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-17 victory. Considering the Spartans have won 11 contests by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Bixby's win came from a few key players Owasso will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Carson Kirby, who threw for 187 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 60 yards and one score. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October. Another player making a difference was Jack Gill, who rushed for 70 yards and three touchdowns.
Owasso's record now sits at 10-2. As for Bixby, their record is now 12-0.
Owasso took a serious blow against Bixby when the teams last played back in August, falling 49-21. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Kirby, who threw for 256 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 46 yards and one score. Now that the Rams know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
