The Gulf Shores Dolphins will head out to take on the Robertsdale Golden Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Gulf Shores is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since February 28th on Tuesday. They skirted past White House-Heritage 9-7.

Nate Perez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Price Stephens was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two triples and two RBI.
Gulf Shores was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .484. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as White House-Heritage only posted a batting average of .308.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Robertsdale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past Charles Henderson 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Bears.
Hayden Phillips made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. He has become a key player for Robertsdale: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-9 otherwise.
In other batting news, Robertsdale let Logan Gregson and Gavin Grider run wild. Gregson scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2, while Grider scored a run while going 1-for-1.
Gulf Shores now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Robertsdale, their record now sits at 8-9.
Robertsdale's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Gulf Shores hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .331. It's a different story for Robertsdale, though, as they've only averaged .237. Will they be able to contain Gulf Shores' hitters?
Everything went Gulf Shores' way against Robertsdale in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Gulf Shores made off with a 7-1 win. Will Gulf Shores repeat their success, or does Robertsdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
