It's playoff time, and King Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 74-28 victory over the Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Joseph Morse produced another solid effort rushing for 216 yards and four scores on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards. Blake Rabar also helped with two touchdowns in total.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: King Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 353 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 191 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Perhaps the best among them was Reece Still, who picked up 122 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Harrison Ray was another key player, picking up 131 receiving yards and two scores.
King Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Looking ahead, King Academy will challenge Laurens Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Morse and Caleb Hardy. Jefferson Davis Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
