Penn-Trafford were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the match and then some with a 52-6 victory on Friday over Trinity. Followers of Penn-Trafford probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Penn-Trafford's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 35 first-half points. Meanwhile, Trinity couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 35-0 heading into the break. Penn-Trafford put the contest away in the third quarter with 17 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The win was the 6th in a row for them, as they raised their record to 6-2. Trinity are on a four-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-6.
Penn-Trafford will be playing at home against Hampton at at 7:30 PM next week. Hampton took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Penn-Trafford's good fortune. As for Trinity, they will face off against Knoch.
