The First Baptist Christian Eagles stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Immanuel Christian 58-8 at home. The win was just what First Baptist Christian needed coming off of a 48-18 loss in their prior game.
First Baptist Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but George Deloach led the charge by scoring ten points along with eight steals and six assists. Panch Giron was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
First Baptist Christian's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Immanuel Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
First Baptist Christian and Bishop Noland Episcopal Day will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bishop Noland Episcopal Day is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.1 points per game. Immanuel Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
