Burlington Township extended the longest winning streak in West Jersey - Patriot this week by beating Pemberton, 41-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Northern Burlington and Willingboro played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Northern Burlington eventually emerging with a 30-28 victory.
The Hornets' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dennis Clark threw for 43 yards and Jahmir Foman had 29 yards receiving. On the ground Quincy Lambert chipped in 173 yards. Lambert helped Pemberton's passing attack out by catching one ball for 14 yards.
Pemberton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Clark has thrown for 493 yards and two touchdowns this season, while Nate Brown has nine catches for 221 yards. Lambert leads the league in rushing with 293 yards.
A big matchup in West Jersey - Patriot this week will be when the Chimeras take on Princeton. Willingboro is currently in fourth, while the Tigers are in fifth.
Lawrence made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,630 from 7,332. The improvement came about via a 35-3 victory over Princeton last week.
