The Seacrest Country Day Stingrays will be taking part in a tournament against the Donahue Catholic Shamrocks at 8:40 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Seacrest Country Day easily dispatched Southwest Florida Christian last Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Stingrays fell just short of Golden Gate by a score of 55-53 last Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Stingrays in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost three in a row.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brady Barnaby, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. His big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Leon, who posted ten points and five assists.
Meanwhile, Donahue Catholic ended up a good deal behind Barron Collier on Wednesday and lost 73-58. The loss was the Shamrocks' first of the season.
Seacrest Country Day will have to contain Isaac Loboda as he made an impact in Donahue Catholic's last game. He shot 64% from the field to rack up 24 points. Loboda is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Max Allen, who earned nine points.
Having lost for the first time this season, Seacrest Country Day fell to 2-1. As for Donahue Catholic, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Seacrest Country Day hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 64.3 points per game. However, it's not like Donahue Catholic struggles in that department as they've been averaging 73.5 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
Seacrest Country Day strolled past Donahue Catholic in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 64-45. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Loboda, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten boards. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Stingrays still be able to contain Loboda? There's only one way to find out.
