While Hartfield Academy's victory against Warren Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hartfield Academy Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Warren Central Vikings on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-5 last Friday.

Hartfield Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JP Abt, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another was Sam Sheffield, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

Hartfield Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Warren Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
