Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Wyatt Edmunds, who went 5 of 8 en route to 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Edmunds is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Anderson Gaarder, who posted six points in addition to seven boards and seven steals.
Creek Valley was led to victory by Mason Timm and Lane Brenneman. Timm dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds, while Brenneman put up 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Those 19 points gave Timm a new career-high.
Bayard's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Creek Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Bayard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-34 win against Banner County on the 13th. As for Creek Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-53 victory against Potter-Dix on the 13th.
