Highlands extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Linden Sepulveda. Everything went the Owls' way against the Jefferson Mustangs on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Sepulveda, who had 26 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.
Highlands never let Jefferson on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-22, 25-13.
Highlands' win bumped their record up to 24-11. As for Jefferson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-29.
