The Milton Panthers put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 71-20 victory over Pensacola Catholic. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-7.
Milton can attribute much of their success to Christopher Jaylen mckinley, who scored 20 points. The contest was Jaylen mckinley's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sergio Robinson, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals.
Milton's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Pensacola Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Gulf Breeze at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Pensacola Catholic will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Rocky Bayou Christian at 6:45 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Rocky Bayou Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
