If Kenedy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Ganado, they should've done a better job of containing Logan Bures. The Indians secured a 33-27 W over the Lions on Friday for which the team can thank Bures, who rushed for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 51 yards.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was David Salas, who rushed for 127 yards and two TDs, and also picked up 43 receiving yards. Salas' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards. Jericho Jackson was another key player, having thrown for 285 yards and onetouchdown.
The win made it two in a row for Ganado and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 27 points in those games. As for Kenedy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
