It was another big night for Jordan Brooks, who scored 24 points along with six assists and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Union Grove's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadea Smith, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Union Grove pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.07 points. As for Eagle's Landing, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
Union Grove won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pleasant Grove at 2:30 p.m. on January 6th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Pleasant Grove is ranked 19th in Alabama, while Union Grove is ranked seventh in Georgia). As for Eagle's Landing, they will head out on the road to face off against Ola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
