Having just played yesterday, the Denver South Ravens will jump right back in to play the Shadow Ridge Mustangs at 4:05 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, the stars were shining brightly for Denver South in a 56-41 victory over Somerset Academy Losee. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Denver South.
Denver South's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nevaeh Millard, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Millard has scored at least 25% of Denver South's points. Another player making a difference was Kate Lindwall, who scored ten points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, Shadow Ridge earned a 53-40 victory over Buckeye on Tuesday. The win was just what Shadow Ridge needed coming off of a 72-48 defeat in their prior game.
Denver South has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Shadow Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
