The Kofa Kings gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 65-50 win over Lake Havasu. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kofa also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Kofa's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Braveheart, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Barber, who scored 15 points along with 8 rebounds.
Kofa's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lake Havasu, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Kofa will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Havasu, they will head out on the road to face off against Millennium at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
