The Aynor Blue Jackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Dillon, falling 63-20. Aynor was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-4.
Despite the loss, Aynor had strong showings from Lucas Kamp, who scored ten points along with four steals, and Kayden Holden, who scored no points.
Dillon was led to victory by Zamaurious Robertson and Jamarion Fling. Robertson scored ten points along with two steals, while Fling scored eight points along with five steals. Fling hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Jayden Benjamin, who scored seven points.
Aynor has been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. As for Dillon, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Manning the next time they take the court. Aynor will host the Monarchs at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
