The Lennard Longhorns were the 73-59 winner over the East Bay Indians when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Lennard fell to East Bay 50-46. Lennard has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Lennard still got an impressive performance from Makai Hills, who scored 12 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hills has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Arcadian Davis, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.
It was another big night for Kamren Lovett, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds for East Bay. Amare Baran was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Lennard has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for East Bay, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lennard will take on Armwood at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Bay, they will be playing at home against Bloomingdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomingdale presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than East Bay in Florida (Bloomingdale is ranked 247th, while East Bay is ranked 496th).
