The Rosman Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Draughn, falling 89-52. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rosman in their matchups with Draughn: they've now lost five in a row.
Defeat or not, Rosman got some senior leadership from Mason Meece who scored 21 points along with five assists and two steals and Kaesyn Mccoy who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Meece has scored all season.
Rosman has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Draughn, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosman will take on Mitchell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Draughn, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against NCSSM: Morganton at 8:00 p.m. NCSSM: Morganton is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
