Saraland had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 38-21 victory over the Benjamin Russell Wildcats on Friday. The Spartans' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Saraland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamison Roberts led the charge by throwing for 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 49 yards and two TDs. Saraland also got a significant boost from Anthonio 'Pj' Brown, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 92 yards.

With that strong performance, Morgan is now averaging an impressive 101.4 receiving yards per game.
Saraland's record now sits at 13-0. As for Benjamin Russell, with the loss, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-2.
