The Taylor Titans won the last time they faced the Delphi Community Oracles, and things went their way on Friday too. Taylor came out on top against Delphi Community by a score of 55-47.
Taylor found their leader in underclassman Javionne Harris, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. Harris has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Binnion, who scored nine points along with five assists.
Delphi Community lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chase Almager, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Walter Gleason, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Taylor pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Delphi Community, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Taylor will head out on the road to face off against Delphi Community at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Delphi Community will be home for the holidays to greet Taylor at 7:30 p.m.
