Achievement First's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 59-52 to Prince RVT.
Prince RVT's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anthony Hernandez, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cal Williams, who scored 22 points along with four steals.
Achievement First dropped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Prince RVT, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Achievement First will face off against Academy of Science and Innovation at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Academy of Science and Innovation will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak. As for Prince RVT, they will head out on the road to face off against Goodwin Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
