The Battle Ground Academy Wildcats''s game two weeks ago was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 51-6 victory over The Webb School on the road. The result was nothing new for Battle Ground Academy, who have now won three matchups by 30 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Battle Ground Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaedyn Marable, who threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Thompson, who picked up 107 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Battle Ground Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for The Webb School, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Battle Ground Academy will be playing at home against Goodpasture Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for The Webb School, they will head out on the road to face off against Providence Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Providence Christian Academy is ranked 259th, while The Webb School is ranked 267th).
