The Millbrook Wildcats were handed a three-point defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against the Heritage Huskies on Tuesday. Millbrook blew past Heritage 87-51 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Millbrook has managed all season.
Colt Langdon was his usual excellent self, scoring 35 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Olander, who scored 16 points.
Millbrook pushed their record up to 8-6 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
Millbrook will be playing in front of their home fans against Rolesville at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Rolesville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Millbrook is ranked 28th). As for Heritage, they will head out on the road to take on Knightdale at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Knightdale is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
