Meridian and Calumet squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Meridian had to settle for second. They took a 48-33 bruising from the Calumet Copper Kings. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Calumet, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.
