North Laurel got themselves on the board against Leslie County on Monday, but Leslie County never followed suit. They blew past the Leslie County Eagles 15-0. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Emma Carl was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Morgan Edwards was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.

North Laurel always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .680. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leslie County only posted an OBP of .182.

North Laurel's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Laurel will face off against Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Leslie County, they will challenge Bell County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
