There's no place like home for Greenwood Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Muncie Burris Owls a 20-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Collin Sookram was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Caden Camden, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.

Greenwood Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Muncie Burris only posted an OBP of .250.

Greenwood Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Muncie Burris, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Coming up, Greenwood Christian Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Bloomfield at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Muncie Burris, they will challenge Indianapolis Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
