Southern Aroostook gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-5 margin over the Central Aroostook Panthers. Trafton Russell made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits.
