Buffalo has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Eden Prairie Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Buffalo will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings (they are ranked 164th, while Eden Prairie is ranked fourth).
Buffalo suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Providence Academy 94-49.
Meanwhile, even though St. Michael-Albertville scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Eden Prairie still came out on top. Eden Prairie walked away with a 66-58 victory over St. Michael-Albertville. The win was just what Eden Prairie needed coming off of a 74-48 defeat in their prior matchup.
Rae Ehrman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 5-for-9 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 26 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Vanessa Jordan, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Buffalo's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Eden Prairie, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.
Buffalo was taken down by Eden Prairie 83-40 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Buffalo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
