The Coconino Panthers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past Mingus 38-9 on the road. The result was nothing new for Coconino, who have now won five contests by 29 points or more so far this season.
Bridger French was his usual excellent self, rushing for 174 yards while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. French is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Buckingham, who threw for 135 yards and a touchdown while completing 76.9% of his passes.
Coconino is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Mingus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
